"Tonight I'm staying at The Claremont Inn in Southwest Harbor, Maine / 1850 miles from home.
It's good to be here in this charming New England inn and it's only 3 miles from Bass Harbor where Stapleton Kearnes workshop starts tomorrow.  Today is the first day I didn't see 90 degrees or above.  In fact the temperature didn't quite make it to 60 degrees and it's been misting rain all day.  I'm on the third floor of this old, charming, turn of the twentieth century home that looks out over the Atlantic.  When I arrived late this afternoon mist and fog were heavy over the water and the boats anchored out there were just faint images.  It could have been a Turner painting.  Did I say that I was glad to be here??"
