Oil Painting "Red Rose" by Artist, NORA KASTEN

"Red Rose"

Oil painting on linen on board  (18"x12")   October 9, 2011

"I skipped over "Painting In Progress" to paint "Red Rose" today.   The thing that I learned today is that the many linen canvas on boards I have in stock all need a primer coat of gloss paint.  I really like to paint on a slick surface and this isn't it.  I'm not discouraged though, since I'm just happy to be painting again."
