"The new med has not helped Karl yet. If possible, he will take it again next Tuesday. Karl is still my hero. He continues to be his old self, being kind, considerate and even some humorous wit as his body is declining and he struggles to breathe. His voice is a strained whisper. Mostly, he is in and out of sleep now. I can't write any more."

ReplyDeleteNora, I never blogged yesterday and am just catching up today. I love hearing how Karl is still loving and witty even in his most difficult hours. The two of you have such a special relationship. Its beautiful to watch. I'd be hard pressed to say who loves the other most. I think you both build on each others outpour of love and nothing will ever break your bond. Enjoy your happy moments for all they hold and thank you for allowing us into the private sections of your life so we too will know of this unimaginable super strong love. You're such a great example to model ourselves after.

Nora:I have thought of you a lot lately and what you are doing--Susan Roux told me about your beloved husband..I have experienced the passing of two brothers one aunt and one cousin and nephew in four years. The more family I have with Jesus makes my remaining days sweeter--if that makes sense. We will join them and our dear Lord shortly--His Spirit fills our days with grace and glory.
