OPA 2009 Eastern Regional Exhibit / Nora Kasten

This past Friday evening, November 20, I attended the Opening Reception for the 2009 OPA Eastern Regional.  It is a beautiful exhibit held at The Corse Gallery & Atelier in Jacksonville, Florida.  My painting "Orange Blossoms" was one of the first to sell and I am very happy.

The next morning the great painter and OPAM member, C.W. Mundy gave an excellent art demo for a "sold out" performance.  As always,  C.W. delivered the best instruction along with the science of painting to us and what a privilege it was for me to be there.  As most of you know . . .  my husband, Karl, is in very fragile health and for the last six months I have not left him (didn't want to).  My youngest son, Jason, and his wife, Leticia, drove the three hours down to our home in Naples early Friday morning, moved in and took over the complete care of Karl so I could leave.  They did so many things while they were here and Karl said they were so good to him he was afraid he had gotten spoiled.  What a blessing the children are to me and I can't thank them enough.

Now, I'm excited to get back to painting.

Congratulations Nora on the sale of this painting which by the way is beautiful.
How wonderful that your children could do this for you. God bless them.

When buying insurance coverage, make sure you understand the variations in between the two principal types: phrase life and long term. Expression every day life is a selected volume of many years that your particular benefactors qualify to acquire your insurance funds. If you outlive these years, then your prepare is void. Long term life coverage remains along until you die, but rates will most likely be higher. Ca45yhhe
