Let Go, Let God
I freely let go and let God be God in me.
Thursday, December 3, 2015

One of the key words in the phrase “let go, let God” is the word let. Allowing myself to let go means stepping out in faith. If I am accustomed to self-reliance, this act of trust may feel more like a leap than a step.
I take that time now. I relax and allow myself to simply be with God. I let go of the need to be in control. I remember that I do not have to know and do everything. I do not have to be in charge; I can relax and just be. What a freeing feeling! What a comfort to know I do not have to do anything alone.
There is a continuous presence at work in my life guiding me on my way, blessing and supporting every step. I let go and let God be God in me.

Let each of you lead the life that the Lord has assigned, to which God called you.—1 Corinthians 7:17

"PAINTED BUNTING"
Painting #1014 of 1181 Paintings / Oil on Linen (11"x14")  Completed September 14, 2008

"Thanksgiving Day, my sons, Jason and Jett, and Jason's wife, Leticia were with me.  They are all such a Blessing to me and believe me, I Am Thankful!

Today starts my preparations in full swing to travel to Barcelona, Spain on December 12, 2014.  My dear friend, Doris Gross, and her family are going too.  I'm driving the two hours to Miami where I have a non-stop flight to Barcelona, Spain.  Spending two days in Barcelona and on December 15, we are boarding a new Costa Cruise Line ship, the Costa Diadema for a Mediterranean cruise.  We will stop in Naples,  La Spezia and Savona, Italy / Palma De Mallorca, Spain and Marseille, France.  We disembark the ship on December 22, to spend two more days in Barcelona.  My non-stop flight, leaving Barcelona on December 24, 9:30am (Spain time) is scheduled to arrive in Miami, on Christmas Eve, December 24, 4:30pm (EST).

There are lots of indecisions for me right now, not knowing what to wear or to take with me, but I'm sure it will all work out great.  It feels really good to be making these plans."

Dance
I join in the glorious dance of Life.

Saturday, November 29, 2014

Sunlight sparkles across a blue lake. Shadows play across a wall. Winds rustle through evergreen forests. Even the busy city streets have a steady flow about them. All of life is a dance, a perfect choreography of Spirit.
With joy and delight, I step in the beautiful flow of creation. As I turn my attention to the indwelling Spirit, I sense the underlying rhythm of all living things. It is in my own breath and my own heart.
When this tempo changes on the outside, I stay attuned to my inner music—my divine guidance. I whirl and jump through twists and turns with seamless grace. In sync with Spirit, I play my unique part in the dance of Life.

Singers and dancers alike say, “All my springs are in you.”—Psalm 87:7

Illumination
The light of a new day is dawning in my consciousness. I walk serene and sure.
Let us unite in prayer for the realization of spiritual light, which will illumine our ways in the days to come. In scriptural symbology, a new day represents a degree of unfoldment in spiritual consciousness. When the light of a new day dawns in our consciousness, it dissipates any condition of spiritual darkness that may have preceded it, just as the sunrise following the dawn dissipates the night and makes all things clear and beautiful.
As the light of a new day dawns in our consciousness, all indecision and all uncertainty are done away with. We see before us opportunities for realizing our good, for practicing good will toward all people, for loving God with all our hearts, minds, and strength. Each day, each moment offers us new opportunity.

If my people … pray … then will I hear … and will heal their land.—2 Chronicles 7:14

SEASON
I am grateful for this season of my life.
Each season has its own distinct character and purpose—dormancy in winter, budding in spring, growth in summer, release in autumn. Each season is dependent on the others occurring in their natural order.
Our lives, too, have seasons. We move through infancy, childhood, adulthood, and maturity experiencing constant change. Each season brings its unique joys and challenges, and each builds on the one before it.
In Ecclesiastes we read, “For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven.” I am grateful for this season of my life, for the changes and growth it brings, for the rest and activity. With each season, I grow into the fullness of my humanity.
They are like trees planted by streams of water, which yield their fruit in its season … In all that they do, they prosper.—Psalm 1:3
