Just as steel becomes stronger after it is heated to a high temperature, my ability to draw on my inner strength grows as I steadfastly overcome obstacles. Inner Peace I am one with Christ and I am at peace. Monday, August 3, 2015 Spelunkers explore and descend through underground tunnels and vertical shafts to reach the depths of a cave. They find secret places and absolute quiet. They discover the mysteries of the earth. In a similar way, I descend to my core to connect with my Christ Self. I discover pure tranquility. I receive understanding, love, and peace. I find this center of my being through my spiritual practices of prayer, meditation, and silence. I find the way on my own—it is my journey to peace. Once found, I return often. Inner peace comes through regular connection with my inner core of love. I find answers and comfort in knowing God is always there. "Naples, Florida is "Pet Friendly" at many stores and some outdoor restaurants.  This is great because I can take Leo with me most of the time for my limited outings.

Pray for Others I pray for others with faith and gratitude. Wednesday, January 21, 2015 When praying for others, I center myself in the awareness of God within me. I remember that God is also within those for whom I pray. I affirm my faith in the power of prayer and give thanks for the activity of Spirit in all situations. If I am tempted to worry, I realign my emotions, thoughts, actions, and words, for they are part of my prayer. When I pray for a loved one’s healing, I visualize them whole and healthy. When I pray for a friend seeking a job, I imagine them gainfully employed in fulfilling work. Praying for the people of the world, I imagine Divine Love, Light, and Life at work in their lives. Filled with faith and focused on gratitude, I live in prayer for others. Devote yourselves to prayer, keeping alert in it with thanksgiving.—Colossians 4:2

"At the end of 2007 I painted many smaller paintings to reach my goal of having completed 1000 paintings in twenty years.  I did reach my goal but ended up destroying many of those paintings. As I'm in the process of transferring all my painting photos from CDs to an external hard drive for the IMAC, it is really a joy to view these old paintings.  

I'm most thankful that I took photos of my paintings right from the beginning.  The first storage or keeping records was me taking photos of each painting and putting them in an album.  The second method was storing them on floppy discs.  The third was to put them on CDs and now to the external hard drive.  I believe that I Am right and left brain thinking because I enjoy the record keeping along with the painting."

On Time

I go with the flow of time.

I live in an orderly universe where seasons change and new life emerges at the appointed time, where flowers bloom and apples ripen as designed and where I accomplish what is mine to do easily and naturally.

I need only look to nature for assurance that there is “a time for every matter under heaven.” In the summer, leaves do not rush to turn to gold and fruit does not hurry to fall from the tree. Nature is in concert with the rhythm of life.

Pacing myself, I willingly flow with life, and I find peace. I am not rushed. I meet my goals and maintain my health. I stay mindful of what is important to me and seek balance in all endeavors. With gratitude, I am fully present to this moment in time.

For he has appointed a time for every matter, and for every work.–Ecclesiastes 3:17
