Forgiveness
Thank you, sweet Spirit, for the gift of forgiveness.

Tuesday, June 2, 2015

I both give and receive the gift of forgiveness when I release a painful situation to God. This does not mean I condone what happened—I simply choose to let it go. My past has only as much power over me as I give it. I can let my past hold me back or I can move on. I can carry the weight of emotional pain forever, or lay it down and release it to God.
I choose to be free from resentment, anger, and hurt. As I release the pain of the past, I claim the life of peace I deserve. My load lightens, my pain heals, and my heart opens. Forgiveness frees me to laugh, love, and embrace a life of joy. Thank you, sweet Spirit, for the gift of forgiveness.

He will wipe every tear from their eyes ... mourning and crying and pain will be no more, for the first things have passed away.—Revelation 21:4

Faith
I expect and receive only good.

Tuesday, April 14, 2015

When fears and doubts cloud my mind, I check in with my heart. I ask myself: Where am I placing my faith? Is it in outer appearances or my Truth? I may need to redirect my thoughts to my faith in a loving God and affirm divine order. I expect and receive only good.
Faith begins in consciousness. In the Silence, I focus on the reality of Infinite Good everywhere present at all times. The darkness of doubt gives way to the light of Truth.
I deny any words or actions that suggest lack. Rather, I praise and bless everything I encounter on my life’s journey. My actions reflect my conviction that my divine inheritance is always at hand.

Inspiration
Divinely inspired, I create a wonderful life.
Wednesday, May 28, 2014

I cherish my capacity to receive inspiration from Spirit, to create and use the power of my thoughts, words, and actions to manifest my good in the world.
At the center of my being is an all-knowing guide. This divine source contains the ideas and answers I need to create a wonderful life. My job is to design that life and call on the wisdom of divine guidance to create it in the physical world.
Through prayer, I ask Spirit to show me the way. I listen carefully and discern what is mine to do. I trust my intuition and realize I am here to live in happiness and joy. I deserve to be inspired by Spirit. I deserve to have a beautiful life.

O you who dwell in the gardens, my companions are listening for your voice; let me hear it.—Song of Solomon 8:13

"BIRDS OF A FEATHER"
Painting #1092  /  Acrylic on Canvas  (5"x 7")   /   Painted In December, 2009     Destroyed

HEALING
I am healthy, whole, and well.
When I scrape my knee or cut a finger, I apply antiseptic and a bandage, and allow the healing process to begin. In time, the pain subsides and the wound heals.
Emotional healing is much the same. If I am hurt about a broken relationship or suffering a loss of any kind, I apply the antiseptic of love and the bandage of forgiveness, and allow healing to begin. Then I add the powerful medicine of affirmative prayer.
Prayer heals at a deep level. I hold in mind my innate perfection and affirm my true nature: I am whole, one with the life of God. Healing starts in my consciousness and brings peace to my soul. I come to see myself as I am: healthy, whole, and well.
It will be a healing for your flesh and a refreshment for your body.—Proverbs 3:8

TURNING POINT
Today is my turning point, and now is my moment.
Every moment brings an opportunity to experience life anew. Every day carries the potential for transformation and growth—for adopting a fresh perspective, making a different choice, or taking a new path.
I choose to make today a turning point day. Whether the changes I make are large or small, each one propels my growth. I discover more about myself, how Spirit works in and through me, and how to express my divine nature in meaningful ways.
As I connect with Spirit within, I know I am supported in every way. I step out in faith to experience life more fully. I am confident and excited as I venture into new territory and embrace this turning point in my life.
For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven.—Ecclesiastes 3:1
