Guidance
The Christ within guides me to my good.
Thursday, March 17, 2016

Whether I’m consciously aware of it or not, my life is continually guided step-by-step toward my best and highest good.
I begin by stilling my mind then trusting in divine wisdom to see me through any seeming obstacle. Resting in a comfortable position, I close my eyes. With deliberation, I shut out the outside world. Like a fog lifting, my mind clears, and I tune in to God’s message for me. I remain open to divine direction.
With a willingness to listen, I now hear the still, small voice within. This divine whisper of encouragement guides me on my spiritual journey. Through sacred listening, I gain clarity to take inspired action. I am blessed.

Now the Lord said to Abram, “Go from your country and your kindred and your father’s house to the land that I will show you.”—Genesis 12:1

Benevolence
I am appreciative, kind, and generous with others.

Saturday, January 24, 2015

Today I live with the intention to express to others my generosity, kindness, and appreciation.
I am grateful for the presence of my loved ones. I cherish the good moments and the difficulties that help us grow. As I appreciate others, I also feel better about myself.
Because I value others and myself, I am kind. In my thoughts and actions, I treat myself with gentleness, and I extend that kindness in my relationships. As I cultivate gentleness, my spirit expands. Out of kindness and appreciation for others, I am generous. I take every opportunity to give of my time, talent, and treasure. As I cultivate benevolence, I grow in the love of God.

You will be enriched in every way for your great generosity, which will produce thanksgiving to God.—2 Corinthians 9:11

Will
I use my human willpower to act on divine ideas in the world.

Sunday, November 23, 2014

My human willpower helps me to accomplish things in the world. When I align it with the power of God, I can do anything.
Will is the capacity to make choices, and I use it to shape my ideas and my life. When I act on a thought, I bring it to life. I use this power to make healthy choices, choose positive thoughts, or focus on a goal and achieve it. With the ability of will, I direct my life. I make wise choices to be the best person I can be.
I align my willpower with the power of God. In prayer and meditation, I listen to divine ideas of peace, reconciliation, forgiveness, and love. I choose to act on these divine ideas for myself and others, even in difficulties. In this way, I manifest Spirit in the world.

If God is for us, who is against us?—Romans 8:31

Declaration
I claim my divine inheritance through powerful affirmations.

Monday, November 3, 2014

I claim my good knowing it is already mine. Unity cofounder Myrtle Fillmore declared, “I am a child of God and therefore I do not inherit sickness.” She claimed her health despite a diagnosis of tuberculosis. Myrtle stayed focused through daily prayer, affirming words of praise and encouragement to her body. She continued to declare health as the truth of her being, until her body responded and the good she claimed was fully manifest.
I claim my good by declaring aloud the truth of my divine inheritance: I am loving and loved. I am prospered by Divine Ideas. I am healthy and whole. I feel the power of my affirmations. Regardless of outer appearances, I call forth my good through the power of my words.

Pray that I may declare it boldly, as I must speak.—Ephesians 6:20

"APPLES & BRASS"
Painting #601 of 1181 Paintings / Oil on Linen (12"x 16") Completed July1, 2000      SOLD

"Last night I learned of Dr. Eghrari's book during the Book Study Group meeting here in my home in Naples, FL.  After everyone left I downloaded this book (he has authored two more as well) from Amazon's Kindle to my IPad and commenced reading.  I read until one o'clock this morning and then finished the book today.  It is a delightful read and a couple of times while sitting alone in my living room, I just burst out laughing aloud.  Massoud is a good storyteller and the best part is that his stories are true.  I have ordered the other two books in paperback and can't wait for their arrival."

MESSAGE IN RHYME  By NORA KASTEN
Received September 24, 2014

I am healthy and well, whole and complete,
From the crown of my head to the soles of my feet.
The chakras are balanced and humming along,
Keeping this body healthy and strong.

The colors in spectrum, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and purple,
Emit great Energy, creating the Circle.
The Circle of LOVE that surrounds each soul,
Makes us aware we are part of the whole.

We need not be tossed to and fro,
Keep on the path and follow the Glow.
We're always with you as you take flight,
Buckle your seatbelt and just sit tight.

Rise up, up to this higher dimension,
Be who you are and state your intention.
Your requests are all heard before you ask,
Drop all pretensions, get rid of the mask.

Live this life as an open book,
There's no harm in taking a second look.
How can you be sure unless you question,
For all that is written does not pass inspection.

Keep your heart open to receive the Truth,
The LOVE of God is always your proof.
There is much more to learn but you're doing alright,
Receive LOVE and give LOVE for that is your plight.

Karl & Messages by Artist, NORA KASTEN

"KARL BY FIRESIDE"
#10 of 1181 Paintings  Oil on Canvas  (24"x36")  Completed in 1990      Destroyed

"This painting was painted by looking at the photo I had taken of Karl.  We had only been in our home, "Pine Haven" on Lamb Lake for about 10 months then.  I'm sorry that I destroyed this painting but so glad there is still an image of it.

Some of you know and some of you don't that since January 14, 2013, I have been meditating and writing every morning.  On January 18, 2013, Karl came to me.  I saw him and he gave me many words, a message, that I hold most dear.  That was over 1 year and 7 months ago.  Since then I have received messages daily from Karl and my guides.  It is time to share with those who have an interest.

Usually, I don't receive my messages in rhyme and yet lately that is what is so often happening.  I don't record or transcribe my words or questions I have written before the message arrives from the guides . . . . you see, Karl is also a guide.  I received a message in rhyme  this morning but I would like to share this one I received on Wednesday, 8-20-2014 with you first."

Wednesday, August 20, 2014     11:30am
“Write, Nora, for you want to recall this.  You are on the right track and your path is made easy for you.  Tune in often to get your updates.  Keep your Energy up high and avoid the static.”

Message in Rhyme IV / Wednesday, August 20, 2014

You are not alone as you live and abide,
Keep your eye on the center line and stay on your side.
Don’t crowd out another, give us plenty of room.

And you don’t have to travel at break neck speed,
Slow down, slow down, be aware, take heed.
See all around you, enjoy the view,
Please don’t miss what God has for you.

Arrows point in many directions,
You say, I’ll go here, I’ll go there.  Oh, so many selections.

Now, don’t be dismayed at the task set before you,
Resource to accomplish all you set out to do,
Is always within you . . . . who knew?

Healing:  from Unity's "Daily Word"
Wholeness is my true nature.
Sunday, August 24, 2014
I am innately whole and healthy. Divine Life is real, abiding, and eternal, and I am Life in expression. To experience the fullness of Life, I first realize that I live, move, and have my being in the universal life flow of God.
I center my feelings, thoughts, and words on Oneness and the perfect Life within me. I feel and know Life is present and available to me in all its fullness. When my mind is focused on the divine idea of wholeness, I am in conscious harmony with the rhythm and flow of Divine Life. I demonstrate wholeness in mind and body.
Wholeness is my true nature and my birthright. I confidently claim it by affirming: Life, sweet Life!
Then God said, “Let us make humankind in our image, according to our likeness.”—Genesis 1:26

Spiritual Messages & Roses Painting by Artist, NORA KASTEN

"THE BLUE VASE"
 #608 of 1181 Paintings  Oil on Linen  (40"x 30")  Completed July 24, 2000  SOLD

Today’s Message came to me in rhyme /  August 19, 2014
This is the third message I have received in rhyme.  The first was March 8, 2014

You are already complete, All you can Be
Become aware, remember, and you will see.
The words of Spirit become clear with no doubt,
You can relay them to others with never, ever a shout.
Begin anew and maybe sing,
Music rises your vibration, you can do anything.
Ponder the words in the still and quiet,
Receive your answer and then apply it.
Go forth boldly with your head held high,
Proclaim the message with never a sigh.

We give to you letters of hope and good cheer,
It’s a gift package for you, my Dear,
Open it quickly, you’ll be delighted.
Now, enjoy your gift without looking back,
And then go forward on your chosen path.

Look, see, the Goodness is sighted as you travel along,
If you follow the signposts, you won’t go wrong.
Just stay in the Flow to receive all you need,
You can share this knowledge, plant the seed.
There is a time to speak and a time to refrain.

To speak, you’ll know when the moment arises.
What you give to another holds many surprises.
Abundance is yours because you share.
Pass it along, let them know that you care.
The Spirit speaks to all but not everyone hears.
Do your part and then, let them see what appears.

As you have been gifted, take the message to others.
Come out of the closet.  Walk in the Light,
Be your Being and display your might.
Words are a beginning but your actions ring true,
As others see God, They will see God in you.

Namaste!

COMFORT
I rest in Spirit, and I am comforted.
Life is unpredictable, and sometimes, I may feel frustrated or disappointed by unexpected events. I may feel hurt by the words or actions of others, or fearful due to an accident or illness. Yet through it all, I count on the love and comfort of Spirit.
I am empowered by the spirit of God within, giving me courage and wisdom to brave any hardship. I hone in on what is working well in my life, while facing challenges with strength. I know that even the most difficult situations bring blessings.
I rest in the comfort of Spirit, listening for guidance and finding the answers I seek. I am reassured, soothed, and consoled. Peace fills my soul.
For I, the Lord your God, hold your right hand; it is I who say to you, “Do not fear, I will help you.”—Isaiah 41:13

KNOWLEDGE

(A Spiritual Message in rhyme by NORA KASTEN / March 8, 2014)

“Turning left or right, I have a choice.
It is always made clear by the Still Small Voice.
Can I really know for sure, I say.
Of course you can, you always may.

The knowledge is vast that you’ve asked to gain.
Stay steady the course and you will attain.
This knowledge is not outside of yourself,
It’s not hidden somewhere on a shelf.
Be still, be quiet and go within,
See for yourself.  Write with the pen.

Thank you, thank you.  Why have I not seen this before?
Because You chose this moment, but hush, there is more.
Breathe in deep the life Energy Force,
You must have This strength to continue the course.
We are speaking of the desired Higher Learning here,
This knowledge comes in a manner most precious and dear.
What seems to be a phenomenon is really not that,
It is of Spirit and It is a fact.

Spirit is pure Energy and creates everything.
This Truth alone, causes One to sing.
The Truth that matter is Energy, everyone knows,
See the Soul, see how It glows?
Love comes to mind but who can define?
Is Love All in All or just Devine?”

GRACE
I make room for God’s grace.
Some days I may feel stuck in negativity. I may wallow in complaint or find my mind fixed on a certain story, belief, or plan that has me feeling troubled. In such instances, my mind has no room for divine ideas, nor is it receptive to the wisdom and inspiration of Spirit.
As I gently dismiss limiting thoughts and claim the truth of Spirit’s bountiful good, I make room for God’s grace in my life.
I recognize that abundance, vitality, and well-being are already present within me. I let go of any preconceptions of what my good should look like and embrace the fullness of God’s good as it is expressing right now. An abundant, grace-filled life is already mine.
You have stripped off the old self with its practices and have clothed yourselves with the new self.—Colossians 3:9-10

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY

"This is a great love story I found on Ralph Taylor's blog this morning.  Enjoy reading it here or on Ralph's Blog. http://thetoilsofbeinganartist.blogspot.com.

"It is always best to do what you know to be right, honest and true to what your head and heart tells you. This is true in all things, but possibly even more so in matters of the heart. Yes of course I am aware that today is Valentines Day, so of course I am going to be romantic. Love can overcome all things, but it cannot flourish in the midst of untruths. Let me explain with a story based on a true experience."

"John stood up from the bench, straightened his Army uniform, and studied the crowd of people making their way along platform 6 of Waverly Station.. He looked for the girl whose heart he knew, but whose face he didn't, the girl with the rose.
His interest in her had begun thirteen months before in the Carnagie Library. Taking a book off the shelf he found himself intrigued, not with the words of the book, but with the notes penciled in the margin. The soft handwriting reflected a thoughtful soul and insightful mind. In the front of the book, he discovered the previous owner's name, Miss Hollis Maynell. With time and effort he located her address. She lived in a town further up the coast. He wrote her a letter introducing himself and inviting her to correspond.

The next day he was shipped overseas for service in World War II. During the next year and one month the two grew to know each other through the mail. Each letter was a seed falling on a fertile heart. A romance was budding. John requested a photograph, but she refused. She felt that if he really cared, it wouldn't matter what she looked like.
When the day finally came for him to return from Europe, they scheduled their first meeting - 7:00 PM at platform 6 Waverly Station Edinburgh. "You'll recognize me," she wrote, "by the red rose I'll be wearing on my lapel." So at 7:00 he was in the station looking for a girl whose heart he loved, but whose face he'd never seen."

"I'll let John tell you what happened:"

"A young woman was coming toward me, her figure long and slim. Her blonde hair lay back in curls from her delicate ears; her eyes were blue as flowers. Her lips and chin had a gentle firmness, and in her pale green suit she was like springtime come alive. I started toward her, entirely forgetting to notice that she was not wearing a rose. As I moved, a small, provocative smile curved her lips. "Going my way, sailor?" she murmured. Almost uncontrollably I made one step closer to her, and then I saw Hollis Maynell. She was standing almost directly behind the girl. A woman well past 40, she had graying hair tucked under a worn hat. She was more than plump, her thick-ankled feet thrust into low-heeled shoes. The girl in the green suit was walking quickly away. I felt as though I was split in two, so keen was my desire to follow her, and yet so deep was my longing for the woman whose spirit had truly companioned me and upheld my own. And there she stood. Her pale, plump face was gentle and sensible, her gray eyes had a warm and kindly twinkle. I did not hesitate. My fingers gripped the small worn blue leather copy of the book that was to identify me to her. This would not be love, but it would be something precious, something perhaps even better than love, a friendship for which I had been and must ever be, grateful. I squared my shoulders and saluted and held out the book to the woman, even though while I spoke I felt choked by the bitterness of my disappointment.
"I'm Lieutenant John McEwan, and you must be Miss Maynell. I am so glad you could meet me; may I take you to dinner?"

The woman's face broadened into a tolerant smile. "I don't know what this is about, son," she answered, "but the young lady in the green suit who just went by, she begged me to wear this rose on my coat. And she said if you were to ask me out to dinner, I should go and tell you that she is waiting for you in the big restaurant across the street. She said it was some kind of test!"

It's not difficult to understand and admire Miss Maynell's wisdom. The true nature of a heart is seen in its response to the unattractive. "Tell me whom you love," says the well known saying, "And I will tell you who you are."
May your heart be touched with Love this day and may you share your love with those
who touch your life this day.

RELATIONSHIP
Love blesses my relationships.
Every loving relationship is blessed. Divine Love in me seeks to express itself through my relationships. When I establish a bond with someone, whether for a moment or a lifetime, we meet on holy ground.
If miscommunication or resentment arises, I bring the relationship into prayer. In that sacred space, I release any preconceptions or judgment. I invite love and wisdom to help me see things differently. Focused on God in the midst of us, I see the conflict resolve or dissolve.
My deepest desire is to embody and express the exquisite love of God in all my relationships. I treat my loved ones with honor, respect, and devotion to Spirit within.

Whoever does not love does not know God, for God is love.—1 John 4:8

SNOWMAN ON NAPLES, FL BEACH / Dec. 18, 2013

A PERFECT DAY

"Yesterday morning it was 56 degrees here in Naples, FL.  Yesterday afternoon, the temperature reached 79 degrees.

Early morning I sat by the fire (I have a wonderful fireplace in my beautiful living room), snuggled up with an afghan, meditated and wrote the "Morning Pages".  In the afternoon, wearing a swimsuit, I took a one hour walk on the beach and then just sat in the beach chair for another hour, enjoying the gentle breeze while basking in the warm sunshine.  My Blessings are too numerous to count!  May you all realize your own abundant Blessings.

With great LOVE, "MERRY CHRISTMAS " and "HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL.

TURNING POINT
Today is my turning point, and now is my moment.
Every moment brings an opportunity to experience life anew. Every day carries the potential for transformation and growth—for adopting a fresh perspective, making a different choice, or taking a new path.
I choose to make today a turning point day. Whether the changes I make are large or small, each one propels my growth. I discover more about myself, how Spirit works in and through me, and how to express my divine nature in meaningful ways.
As I connect with Spirit within, I know I am supported in every way. I step out in faith to experience life more fully. I am confident and excited as I venture into new territory and embrace this turning point in my life.
For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven.—Ecclesiastes 3:1

"Exactly, a year ago today, I bought my nice condo here in Naples to be on my own.  This has been an exciting year, to say the least, and in two days, Monday, September 23, 2013, I will close on the beautiful and much larger new home that God has for me now.  It is GOOD to be led of Holy Spirit."

SURRENDER
Surrendering to Spirit, I experience deep peace and well-being.
At times life flows smoothly, and at other times, it may seem like a battle. If I find myself in opposition with those around me or in conflict with myself, I cease the struggle now. I turn the matter—and, indeed, my life—over to the living Spirit of Truth within me.
I begin in quiet contemplation, laying down the defensive armor of strongly held convictions and any weapons of judgment or criticism. This is a conscious act of faith and courage.
I relinquish control and surrender to Spirit. In the Silence, my open heart and mind reap the rewards of God’s living, loving Spirit. As I entrust myself to Infinite Love, I experience deep peace and well-being.
For not in my bow do I trust … But you have saved us from our foes.—Psalm 44:6, 7

INNER PEACE
I am open to the peace of God within.
The world does not determine whether or not I am at peace. I am willing to let peace begin with me. Inner peace is a state of mind and heart, one I can choose anytime.
I take time right now to center myself in peace. In a moment of silence, I release any concerns and feel my oneness with God. I relax, breathe deeply, and rest quietly. I pray “Peace, be still!” until I feel peace in every fiber of my being.
Beginning my day with a peaceful heart, I become a channel of peace, opening the way for peaceful encounters in the hours ahead. I set the intention to bring awareness to my thoughts, words, and actions throughout the day and to stay centered in peace.
For God is a God not of disorder but of peace. —1 Corinthians 14:33

PREPARED
I am ready for this new day!
I awaken refreshed, renewed, and energized. To begin my morning, I start with prayer, connecting with Source. The ideas I hold in mind and heart help prepare me for the day ahead. I affirm that I am one with God and aligned with divine life, order, peace, and plenty. I am ready for this new day, whatever it may bring.
If I have specific goals in mind, I decide on the first steps to reach them. If I have an upcoming test, I study. If I’ve been assigned a task at work, I prepare by gathering the resources I need. When new opportunities arise, I seize them with confidence.
Preparation is necessary in many facets of life. My heart and mind are open and prepared for every blessing this day holds.
Build up, build up, prepare the way, remove every obstruction from my people’s way.—Isaiah 57:14

POSSIBILITIES
I am one with the divine Presence, and all things are possible.
It may seem that a situation is impossible, or a problem is unsolvable, but I know that with God, the impossible becomes possible.
As I open my heart and mind to the presence of God, I grow in awareness of the divine potential that is present in all of life. The Presence transcends any appearance of lack or limitation.
I connect with God in prayer and meditation, where the fullness of life becomes clear. My imagination and faith allow me to see possibilities beyond outer appearances. My wisdom and will empower me to realize and manifest new possibilities.
At one with the divine Presence, I embrace my unlimited potential. Right outcomes are coming to fruition.
For God all things are possible.—Matthew 19:26

WORTHY
I am worthy of my good!
Like all people, I want a good life—loving relationships, rewarding work, and abiding peace. Yet these blessings may elude me until I awaken to my inherent worth.
I am created in the image and likeness of God. My worth does not depend on my behaviors. I am intrinsically worthy because I am a living, loving, divine creation.
When doubts arise, I remember the truth of my being. The good I seek is right where I am. The love I desire is the love of God already present. The work I long to do is Spirit’s calling within me. As I stand in my own sacred worth, I feel the blessings of God infill me. I am worthy of my good. I expect the best, and I am ready to receive!
Now, my daughter, do not be afraid, I will do for you all that you ask, for all the assembly of my people know that you are a worthy woman.—Ruth 3:11
